In His Steps exists to ...
Uplift K-12th grade girls to strengthen and/or begin a real walk with Christ
Share God’s love and teachings within the community
Promote a positive self image both inside and out
Provide a safe place for girls to learn, share and grow
These functions are accomplished through weekly dance/performance practice along with spiritual development. We teach various performing arts (dance, theater and voice) and welcomes all skill levels. Local performances and productions, participation in dance competitions and producing young women’s conferences provide opportunities to share the love of Christ. Peer accountability is the best way to support a Christian lifestyle and has been proven successful for our girls. To set the example, the ministry leadership, teachers and dance coaches subscribe to a high standard of excellence and Christian values.
The focus of this ministry will encompass the love of the performing arts along with Christian life lessons and an uplifting environment for girls. Girls in this age group (1st through 12th grade) traditionally have a love of the performing arts. Girls need a place to learn about Jesus and his teachings, learn God is with us and feel Christ’s love in their daily lives. There are so many battles and challenges that these girls face daily. This ministry is designed to keep them focused on what God says is good and right.
Although there may be occasional fundraisers, there is NEVER a charge or any fees to participate in or join In His Steps.
Donations are tax deductible and appreciated. 100% of all contributions will be used to achieve our mission statement and advance the vision. |
