I am on a MISSON! A mission to make Jesus REAL to all those around me! To encourage, uplift, and pour life into girls lives allowing them to see the true beauty – that which is in within!!! With every passing day our girls our being told through advertisements, videos, and some in everyday conversations that what God created in them – isn’t good enough. That they are to be skinner, wear more revealing clothing, etc… My mission is to show them that God doesn’t make mistakes! They are a PRINCESS! A daughter of a KING! He has given me an amazing family, my husband Brent, daughter Hope and son Parker to run this journey called life with and live in Troutman NC.

I am an elementary ESL school teacher at East Iredell Elementary school. I have been dancing since I was in kindergarten and love to dance. I moved back to the Statesville area 5 years ago and started dancing again after a 15 year break. I am married with 5 children, the smallest ones being 21 months (Isabella) and 8 years old (Mackenzy). The other 3 are grown. I have been an active volunteer of Cove Kids for the past 4 years. Besides dancing, I love snow skiing and used to be a ski instructor while in college and grad school.

My husband and I are originally from NY and we moved to Statesville a few years ago and love it here. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters. We have been attending the Cove Church years. Both our girls dance IN HIS STEPS and love it! When Christy asked me to be a coach, I answered right away and said "yes, sure" but then had time for my doubts and insecurities to sneak in and I wanted to back out. I have no dance or teaching experience of any kind. I am not used to being the center of attention and dancing, singing, praying and talking in front of people. I am very much out of my comfort zone. Christy was very encouraging and kept telling me I could do it. I also read a quote in my email that day after saying no that read "Don't be afraid to try new things, Remember amateurs built the ark, professionals built the titanic." God was talking to me. So I took the challenge!! I needed it!! I'm not the center of attention, JESUS is!! I'm so excited that I did it. Having so much fun and love watching the girls dance for JESUS!!! The kids are learning so much and so I am!

Chrissy Eppley
Im 18 years old. I graduated from North Iredell HIgh School and now I'm a full time student at Mitchell Community College. Dancing has always been a part of my life. Ive been a dancer at Tilley's Dance Academy for 12 years. I teach Physical Education at Crossroads Christian School and I coordinate a cheerleading class every week at my church, Landmark Church of God. Being a part of IHS is just one of the many blessing God has placed in my life, it allows me to be a part of these young girls' lives and show them how we can praise our God through dance.
